The challenge
Since its discovery in late December of 2019, there have been more than 14.5 million confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in 185 countries, as of July 21, 2020, with approximately a 2 % daily increase. Among these cases there have been more than 95 thousand deaths, which represents an approximate 4.2 % mortality rate. The Medicines are not easily available and require constant refrigeration for being effective.
The solution
A medicine monitoring system to maintain the desired storage conditions using Internet of Things. A medium size compartment that has temperature sensor and Humidity sensor inside the lid to monitor and the User gets real time updates in phone for the medicines in case there is something wrong. The User selects the profile of the content inside and the Sensors get the inputs accordingly. In case the temperature is too high, a fan kicks in to maintain the levels.
